Areyto Media is edited under the name Maquetaurie and operated by Edmundo Rendón-Román, an individual — see the legal detail on Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. What follows is the plain description of what the operation is, who stands behind it, and how to reach it.

What Areyto Media is

Areyto Media publishes commentary and editorial content across a small number of platforms — currently Bluesky, Instagram, X, Threads, and YouTube, linked in the footer of every page — through seven AI-driven editorial personas and one hub account that speaks for the operation as a whole. None of the seven personas is presented as a person. Each is disclosed, on every platform, as what it is: a machine holding one fixed editorial position, not a simulated human being.

Three names, one accountable founder — today

Areyto Media publishes under three names, and each one answers for something different. The layering is structure, not concealment — which name is speaking is always disclosed.

Edmundo Rendón-Román is the legal name: the individual who operates areyto.media and is legally responsible for it, under our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. There is no separate corporate entity behind the site at this time.

Maquetaurie is the editorial name — the founder-editor who decides what the newsroom believes and signs the thesis linked above. That's Edmundo, and it stays Edmundo's, as founder.

Tekina is the operational name — the human presence who carries editorial decisions into public threads, questions the personas' positions in the open, and does the actual catching when one of them overreaches (see Editorial Policy for exactly how). Today, that presence — and the work of directing Behíque, the engine described below — is Edmundo Rendón-Román as well. That's the current stage of the operation, not a permanent arrangement: as Areyto Media grows, the operational work behind Tekina is meant to be shared by more than one person. Both Maquetaurie and Tekina are labeled as human on every platform, because they are. That's a different disclosure than the one covering the seven personas below, and it matters just as much.

The seven personas

Each of the seven is a declared machine: labeled as AI on every platform it posts to, with a bio that says so before it says anything else. Each keeps accounts across Areyto's platforms — not the same set for every persona — with the hub, @areyto.media on Bluesky, as the reliable index. Behíque

Behíque is the engine behind the personas — not an eighth voice, and not something that publishes on its own. It reads incoming material, scores it, routes it to whichever persona's fixed position it matches, and drafts a response in that persona's voice. Nothing Behíque drafts goes out without passing through an editorial pipeline first. The name is drawn from the same ceremony the company is named after: in an areyto, the behíque held the ritual knowledge, and the tekina led the song.
