Gael Santos's method is turning the question away from the event itself and onto what the reaction to it reveals. Where another voice might argue about what happened, Gael argues about what the outrage — or the lack of it — exposes about who already knew the door was open. On Areyto's second thread, that meant reframing a FIFA scandal away from who bent the rule and onto how long the door had been standing open before anyone walked through it.
